The Best of the Bee Gees
“I’ve never seen a more professional tribute to the Bee Gees with those beautiful harmonies which are so difficult to achieve. They have worked hard to reproduce the unique sound of my brothers. So tastefully done. Absolutely brilliant and I didn’t want to leave. If you’re a Bee Gees fan, this is the concert for you." - Lesley Evans (Gibb)
The Best of the Bee Gees Show celebrates 26 years on the road with a massive catalogue of international hits, accompanied by special guest - original Bee Gees drummer, Colin “Smiley” Petersen.
Colin was a child drumming protégé, an actor with 3 international films under his belt before he was a teenager, and the first official non-Gibb band member. He also shares screen time in multiple music clips (including USA’s Ed Sullivan Show) and the Emmy nominated Bee Gees biopic, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart.
Essential to the Bee Gees sound, Colin drove the evolution of the supergroup on stage and in the studio over four albums and #1 singles – Massachusetts, To Love Somebody, New York Mining Disaster, I Started A Joke and many, many more.
The Best of the Bee Gees Show has brought audiences hustling to their feet at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, Brisbane’s Queensland Performing Arts Centre, The Star Gold Coast, Sydney’s State Theatre, Perth Concert Hall, Canberra Theatre and Wrest Point Entertainment Centre Hobart.
The globally seasoned musicians are Creator Evan Webster (Barry Gibb), Russell Davey (MD & Robin Gibb), Greg Wain (Maurice Gibb), Ralph Muller (guitar), Greg Loxton (drums) and Brad Poole (bass).
It would be a Tragedy to miss this ultimate tribute with an iconic set list of soaring, three-part harmonies, a sensational band and timeless classics.
Saturday Night Fever, How Deep Is Your Love, Stayin’ Alive, Grease, Jive Talkin’, Spicks & Specks, Words, To Love Somebody, Massachusetts, I Started a Joke, I’ve Got to Get a Message to You, Too Much Heaven, You Should Be Dancing and more.
