The Saturday Night Social dazzled attendees and earned a national Impact Award for its innovative low emission, high impact, legacy project. We’re excited to continue bringing this vibrant event as the opener to our Season Program for the Dubbo Region community for many years ahead! Ever wish you could relive the magic of a Saturday night dance? Glide across a polished floor to the rhythm of a live band beneath shimmering lights? This Saturday night, you can! The Convention Centre is transformed into a mid-century dance hall with enchanting lighting, cabaret tables and a lively band. Featuring Dance Makers Collective dancers, the renowned Tin Roof Big Band, talented local dance students and rock n’ rollers, this is an evening for everyone to enjoy! Cabaret seating offers tables of eight, and guests are encouraged to bring a picnic platter or order one with your tickets, with the bar remaining open throughout the night. Doors and the bar will open at 6:30 PM. If you're flying solo, you can join the Friends and Buddies (FAB) table and enjoy a night full of fun and camaraderie. Join us for an unforgettable evening that bridges generations and celebrates the joy of dance! It's just great to dance particularly to a live band. The dance floor was packed all night.
