Mirusia - A Salute to The Seekers and Classics
She's known to millions around the world as the ‘Angel of Australia’ - the name given to her by the famous Dutch violinist, André Rieu.
This concert is part of Mirusia's National Tour in 2021 saluting the music of The Seekers, performing the chart-topping hits including I’ll Never Find Another You, A World Of Our Own, The Carnival Is Over, Georgy Girl and more in a two-hour show with a band that will also include the CLASSICS she has performed with André Rieu around the world plus her original songs.
Mirusia is an Australian born Soprano with Dutch heritage. With 12 years of extensive international touring and successful concerts under her belt, Mirusia is one of the most sought-after sopranos in the world. Her albums always place highly on the ARIA Album and DVD chart rankings, with numerous albums and DVDs reaching the number one position on the Pop, Classical Crossover, Jazz and Blues and Music DVD Charts in Australia. Her latest album A Salute to The Seekers debuted at the Number 1 position on the ARIA Jazz and Blues Chart with a sold-out shows at QPAC Concert Hall, Sydney Recital Hall and Melbourne’s Recital Hall.
Mirusia studied opera at Griffith University's Queensland Conservatorium in Australia and at the age of 21 was announced as the youngest ever recipient of the prestigious Dame Joan Sutherland Opera Award. After graduation, her career blossomed when she toured the world as star soprano with André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra for over 10 years. The stadium-size concerts have forwarded Mirusia the most wonderful opportunities of singing before country leaders, royalty and millions of fans have marvelled at the clarity, dexterity and the exquisite sound of her voice.
Mirusia still tours with André Rieu, but also has a flourishing solo career.

All tickets for events at Dubbo Regional Theatre are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions and your purchase of a ticket is a deemed acceptance by you that you have read them and agree to them.
You will receive a booking confirmation once you have completed your purchase. If you have requested eTickets, your tickets will be attached to your confirmation email.
You need to print your PDF ticket/s or ensure your ticket/s are available on your phones
If you are unwell, please stay at home. You will be entitled to a full refund if you advise the Box Office within 4 hours of the start of the show time on 02 6801 4378 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please leave a message if the phone is unattended.
Babes in Arms (children under 12 months) are now included in total capacity and as a result now require a Babes in Arms ticket (free of charge but a ticket needs to be issued for scanning and entry).
At the Event
The customer is responsible for having their ticket/s available on their phone or printed out, clearly visible, for scanning at the door.
Customers must not attend a performance if they are sick, if they have been overseas, or to an area where NSW Health has declared a COVID-19 hotspot within the previous fortnight. In line with the NSW Govt requirements, our venues are operating at reduced capacity per the 1 person per 2 sqm rule.
All patrons will be seated in line with current NSW Public Health Guidelines. Theatre events are not required to be socially-distanced in the auditorium therefore there are no vacant seats between bookings. Face masks are not mandatory but optional.
