Ticket Guidelines

Concession and Student Details The Concession rate applies to Pension or Health Care Card holders. Concession rate does not apply to Senior card holders. To claim a Concession rate, proof of eligibility must be provided when purchasing tickets and must be held at all times while attending a performance where a Concession rate has been claimed.

Youth The Youth price category applies to youth from 12 months to 21 years and full time students. Students 16 and older, including full time tertiary students, must provide proof of eligibility when purchasing tickets in the youth price category or when collecting tickets. Youth aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult when attending a show.

Companion Card Patrons who hold a Government issued Companion Card are eligible for one complimentary ticket for their companion when purchasing tickets for themselves. This is only available by booking with the Box Office directly via phone or in person. The Companion Card holder is required to be present at the time of collection. The Companion Card must be shown to the Box Office staff before the carer ticket can be issued.

Children 'Babes in arms' under 12 months of age will be admitted free of charge provided they are seated on a parent or carer's lap and it is an age-appropriate show. Children over the age of 12 months are required to hold a valid individual ticket and will be allocated their own seat.

No Refunds or Exchanges There are NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES on ticket purchases except as required by law. Subscribers may exchange their ticket(s) to a different Season show in the 2021 Season program. If you are requesting an exchange or refund based on medical advice that you should be isolated at this time, please cite this reason and provide a doctor's certificate to support your refund request to the Box Office.

Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates for any amount may be purchased and are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.


Fab Club It's FREE and it's our Friends and Buddies (FAB) Club. When booking your ticket let us know you would like to be part of the FAB Club and we will allocate your seat in a great section of the theatre auditorium with other solo patrons. Only available when booking at the Box Office or over the phone. 

So on the night (or day) when you come to the theatre, make a beeline for the ushers who will be near the Box Office. We will make casual introductions and then you’ll know a few people you will be sitting next to. You can have a chat, catch up for a drink at interval or de-brief after the show if you want.

Group Bookings Unless otherwise stated, group bookings consist of eight (8) or more Adult tickets booked at the same time in one (1) transaction. If you want to sit with your friends, we suggest the tickets be purchased at the same time.

Single Ticket Sales Individual tickets go on at the Box Office from Monday 1 February 2021.  If you want to sit with your friends, we advise that all tickets need to be purchased at the same time.

Subscription Period is from Sunday 29 November 2020 to Friday 29 January 2021 at 4.30pm. You can become a Subscriber by booking and paying for a minimum of five (5) shows from the 2018 Season booklet. As a Subscriber you can purchase an additional ticket at the Subscriber discount rate to ANY show that lists a Subscriber price (for your use as a Subscriber only). Simply enter the Subscriber code on your Subscriber card to access discounts on-line or alternatively present your card at the Box Office.

In addition to the 2021 Season program a multitude of other hirer/promoter show tickets will be listed for sale throughout the year. You can stay up-to-date with the latest performance listings by visiting our website, signing up to our free eNewsletter, liking us on Facebook or picking up a flyer.

When booking tickets online, you must take care and only select the number of tickets you require. Please ensure you check the number of tickets you have selected on the Finalise Order screen before you complete the transaction.

If you inadvertently book more tickets than you intended, you are committed to that purchase and we are not able to offer a refund.

In person At the Box Office located in the Theatre Foyer at 155 Darling Street, Dubbo. The Box Office is open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 4.30pm (except for public holidays) and one hour prior to the Show.

By Phone Call the Box Office on 02 6801 4378 Monday – Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm (except public holidays). Telephone bookings are not available one hour prior to the show. A $2.95 telephone booking fee applies per transaction. A $2.95 postage and handling fee applies if you would like your tickets sent to you in the mail.

Upon receipt of your tickets, please check to ensure the dates and times are correct and refer to the Terms and Conditions on the back of each ticket.


Patrons requiring wheelchair access or with mobility concerns are encouraged to advise the Box Office as soon as possible and certainly at the time of booking their seats. Accessible seating cannot be booked on-line and are released for general sale one week prior to the show or earlier for sold-out performances.

Hearing Impaired Approximately 80% of the Theatre auditorium and Theatre foyer is equipped with an induction hearing loop compatible with T-Switch hearing aids suitable for musicals and concerts which have the sound desk in the auditorium. Please note it is not available in rows A, B or C due to the close proximity to the stage and speakers.
