Roger Woodward is one of the foremost pianists of our time, who performs and directs at major international festivals and concerts, and was described recently in The London Guardian as a 'genius'. Woodward plays with  astonishing calm. He was appointed founding director of the School of Music and Dance at San Francisco State University where he is currently professor of keyboard performance practice and music history.

At the end of May 2011 he made five appearances at the International Festival of Reims, France where the critics acclaimed his performance as flawless, dazzling and extraordinary. A great Lord of the keyboard.

Recently, the Polish Ambassador to Canberra announced that Poland's highest honour in the arts, the Medal for Merit to Culture will be presented to Roger Woodward during his tour of Australia in November.
