General Venue Information
The Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre houses a 500-seat tiered theatre and 700-seat auditorium. The state-of-the-art venue boasts a comprehensive computerised sound and lighting control room, a box office, acoustically designed auditorium, hydraulic orchestra pit, raised stage, dressing rooms, 'green room', refreshment bar and designated seating for people with disabilities.
This multi-purpose venue is the ideal setting for a range of events including trade shows, seminars and conferences, meetings, award nights, weddings, performing arts and entertainment.Located right in the centre of Dubbo overlooking the picturesque Victoria Park, the venue is in walking distance to motels, shopping centres, restaurants and cafes. Enjoy the spacious and air-conditioned foyers, comfortable seating and great sight lines to see quality local performances and a variety of national touring shows from around Australia. Booking is made easy with friendly box office staff and the convenience of an on-line ticketing system.
Parking
There is strictly No Parking immediately in front of the venue during events. Notices will be signposted along the parking spaces during events signifying the ‘Special Event’ zones. This area is strictly for drop-off and pick-up only.
Car parks are available, with a total of 100 car spaces including 5 accessible car spaces. On-street parking is also available. Time restrictions may apply, please refer to parking signs. A new 44 space car park is now open on the corner of Darling and Talbragar Streets. Both car parks are always well lit at night.
School Groups
Weekday matinees may be attended by school groups. Special school group discounts are available where noted.

Bar
The Foyer Bar will be open one hour prior to most shows and during most intervals. Enquire at the bar before the show if you would like to pre order your drinks for interval to avoid the rush.
Electronic Equiptment
All mobile phones, pagers and alarms are to be turned off prior to entering the Theatre. Cameras or any forms of electronic recording equipment are not permitted in the Theatre Auditorium.
Wheelchair Access
Patrons requiring wheelchair access or with mobility concerns are encouraged to advise the Box Office at the time of booking their seats. Accessible seats cannot be booked on-line.
Hearing impaired
Approximately 80% of the Theatre auditorium is equipped with an induction hearing loop compatible with T-Switch hearing aids suitable for musicals and concerts which have the sound desk in the auditorium.
