THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF A YOUNG MIGRANT BOY

Tuesday 28 September 7.30pm
Wednesday 29 September 10.00am* and 12.15pm*

Special Effects: Hazer

The Tashi plays are theatrical adaptations of Anna and Barbara Fienberg's well loved childrens' books about the magical and mysterious adventures of a young migrant boy, Tashi, and his best friend, Jack.

'Tashi and The Big Stinker' and 'Tashi: The Swan and the Dragon' are performed in pairs. Each different story is performed on the same set by the same four performers and is underscored by a dynamic sound design.

Imaginary's Tashi plays have been seen by over 15,000 Queensland children and carers since 2006.

"Imaginary Theatre Company uses a technique of introducing little children to the concept of theatre that is supremely effective and, I suspect, unique ... the older members of the audience enjoyed it as much as their littlies – and I – did." – ALISON COTES, A LITTLE GOSSIP, 28 SEPTEMBER 2009.

"Everything was fabulous ... thank you for making my four year old's first experience of imaginary theatre so wonderful!" – S. MANTIS, PARENT, POWERKIDZ SESSION, BRISBANE POWERHOUSE, JULY 2008.
