GOOEY, BREWY, YUMMY AND CHEWY

Wednesday 4 August 6.30pm
Thursday 5 August 10.00am* and 12noon*

One day on the banks of the billabong, a very clever dingo caught a wombat and decided to make gooey, brewy, yummy and chewy wombat stew... however, when Wombat's friends decide to help, things go very wrong for the dingo.

First published in 1984, Wombat Stew, written by Marcia K.Vaughan and illustrated by Pamela Lofts has become a modern day classic, familiar to thousands of children Australia wide.

With a cast of six multi-skilled actors, the production will feature a setting based on the illustrations in the publication and incorporate the elements of acting, singing, dancing, puppetry and mime.

Wombat Stew is widely read in schools and can be found in all children's libraries.

The renowned reputation of Gary Ginivan Attractions and its history of expertly adapting a modern day Australian classic for children will make it a sensational experience.
